CEDA - LI-HEAP
ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The low income home energy assistance program (LIHEAP) is designed to assist eligible households pay their heat and electric bills.
Eyes On Austin (EOA) is a CEDA service center that provides direct assistance to eligible clients. EOA also sponsors energy fairs that give clients an opportunity to learn techniques of weather-proofing their homes. Participants in the fairs are given free weatherization kits.
Qualified applicants receive financial assistance from the State of Illinois and other resources, with their gas and light bills.
For information regarding the availability of funds and application assistance contact an EOA representatives between 10: a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Saturday.
