AUSTIN JOB CENTER
Eyes on Austin's Job Center addresses the ongoing and growing need of Austin residents to obtain a job. Many participants are seeking employment due to being unemployed, underemployed, or lacking appropriate job skills.

Eyes on Austin (EOA) staffs the job center with individuals trained in case management, career development, intake/assessment, and advocacy.

The job center has computers available for clients' use. They are internet accessible and maybe used for job searches and sending e-mails. Clients may also use the computers to develop their resumes, learn basic computer applications and improve their reading, writing, and math skills.

EOA works with everyone in need of employment, job training, and career development. Also available, at no cost, is the fax machine and telephone use for job seekers.

In 2007, the center assisted more than 6,000 individuals. The office hours are 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily.
