ABOUT US
Eyes On Austin (EOA) is an incorporated Chicago based not for profit 501-C-3 tax exempt organization. EOA serves the Austin community, which is predominantly African-American and has a population of more than 117,000 individuals. EOA is located on the far west side of the City.
The mission of EOA is to provide skill development and general assistance to members of the Austin community. Our history has been one of training, advocacy, education, and information. EOA is committed to training participants in marketable work related skills that will enable them to obtain employment.
EOA is five years old and during this time it has serviced thousands of persons and spearheaded a number of initiatives that have positively impacted Austin and its residents.
Currently EOA makes available to case managed clients and the general public a wealth of services designed to assist them in improving their educational abilities and acquiring job skills. EOA utilizes computer software status to assist in skill and educational development.
EOA interacts with businesses, political leaders, church groups, the police department, schools, and other community organizations as part of a comprehensive strategy to bring about job placement, business development and overall improvement of every Austin residents quality of life.
